Welcome to JAVA FREE

Wow! Pages that will load without a litany of javascript errors, what a concept. I've been trying to set a homepage in Netscape 2.02 for my Macintosh Color Classic and can't find anything out there that isn't using the "latest" technology. I love my new stuff, but absolutely will not abandon my cool old stuff. I have been collecting older Macs now for a while and really love it. If you are a legacy Mac lover too, maybe you will enjoy knowing where you can surf with ease on your older machine(s). I am presently working on a late model generation 2, 8600/200 with a Sonnet 1G G4 PCI accelerator/processor upgrade card. The OS is 9.2.2 courtesy of Mac OS Helper. OK - I did start with Claris Homepage 3.0, but began having issues with the graphics card I think. When I was scrolling in the pages, the accelerated movement would hang the program. Anyway, I am now using version 6.1 of Dreamweaver MX. No styles to speak of, just basic html.

Sorry about the cheezy graphic, but hey, if you want pictures to look at, most of them here will be simple and extremely basic. Photos will be small and probably 50% - 80% quality. The following are links to some basic pages about some of my adventures with EBay and the legacy Mac collection. I will not profess to be an authority here, just someone who has been experimenting with all of those things that used to be too expensive to play with. If you have another site that uses zero javascript and is developed in this same style, you can send the link to me at webmaster@spiderpost.com Enjoy!
